Besides the bull and bear placed at the center of our logo (where taurus meets ursas), there are several key elements of our logo that relate to our founders’ cultural backgrounds and values, as well as the company’s investment philosophy.
Spanish Bull
The bull is a symbolic figure of Spanish culture and of financial markets.
Pillars of Hercules
Inscribed on the pillars is "PLUS ULTRA," meaning "Further Beyond." Taursas embodies this motto for our Clients.
Spanish Flag
Our yellow logo element and the Pillars of Hercules are derived from the Spanish flag.
North American Grizzly
The bear is a symbol of market pessimism, which allows Taursas to buy quality companies at a discount.
Olive Fields of Andalucia
The green logo element is derived from olive fields and is an homage to our lineage.
